چکیده

An important approach to establishing stochastic behavior of dynamical systems is based on the study of systems expanding a foliation and of measures having smooth densities along the leaves of this foliation [44], [46], [38]. We review recent results on this subject and present some extensions and open questions. 2000 Math. Subj. Class. Primary 34C29; Secondary 37D30.

‎On the two-wavelet localization operators on homogeneous spaces with relatively invariant measures

In ‎the present ‎paper, ‎we ‎introduce the ‎two-wavelet ‎localization ‎operator ‎for ‎the square ‎integrable ‎representation ‎of a‎ ‎homogeneous space‎ with respect to a relatively invariant measure. ‎We show that it is a bounded linear operator. We investigate ‎some ‎properties ‎of the ‎two-wavelet ‎localization ‎operator ‎and ‎show ‎that ‎it ‎is a‎ ‎compact ‎operator ‎and is ‎contained ‎in‎ a...

Averaging Principle for Nonautonomous Slow-Fast Systems of Stochastic Reaction-Diffusion Equations: The Almost Periodic Case | SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis | Vol. 49, No. 4 | Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics

We study the validity of an averaging principle for a slow-fast system of stochastic reaction-diffusion equations. We assume here that the coefficients of the fast equation depend on time, so that the classical formulation of the averaging principle in terms of the invariant measure of the fast equation is no longer available. As an alternative, we introduce the time-dependent evolution family ...

Complete Closest-Target Based Directional FDH Measures of Efficiency in DEA

In this paper, we aim to overcome three major shortcomings of the FDH (Free Disposal Hull) directional distance function through developing two new, named Linear and Fractional CDFDH, complete FDH measures of efficiency. To accomplish this, we integrate the concepts of similarity and FDH directional distance function. We prove that the proposed measures are translation invariant and unit invari...

Measures of maximal entropy

We extend the results of Walters on the uniqueness of invariant measures with maximal entropy on compact groups to an arbitrary locally compact group. We show that the maximal entropy is attained at the left Haar measure and the measure of maximal entropy is unique.

Pseudo Zernike Moment-based Multi-frame Super Resolution

The goal of multi-frame Super Resolution (SR) is to fuse multiple Low Resolution (LR) images to produce one High Resolution (HR) image. The major challenge of classic SR approaches is accurate motion estimation between the frames. To handle this challenge, fuzzy motion estimation method has been proposed that replaces value of each pixel using the weighted averaging all its neighboring pixels i...

We prove that on the finitely generated free MV-algebras the only automorphism-invariant truth averaging process that detects pseudotrue propositions is the integral with respect to Lebesgue measure.
